From the moment I reached out until the very end, my experience was phenomenal. I used The Garden Room to host my children’s Baptism party. The fact that it was turnkey was the biggest selling point, but after speaking with Katherine and seeing the beautiful photos I knew it would be perfect. And perfect it was! Everything from the service, to the food, to the ambiance was amazing. All of my guests were commenting how beautiful the place was and truly enjoyed themselves. I could not recommend this place more. We had a wonderful experience and would use them again in a heartbeat!

We had our wedding here last night and every detail was perfect. Katherine is wonderful and she pours her heart into her garden cafe and it shows. She was incredibly hospitable and flexible with us in the planning process. She is a really special person and and shoogie boogies is a special place. I highly recommend them for any small wedding or event. My guests raved about their dinner. The portions were very good and everything was really yummy! It’s a gorgeous atmosphere and I’m so thankful we had our wedding here.

I’ve had the best experience working with Kathryn for several years. I initially worked with her to plan my wedding but had to change plans during covid. Regardless, I know a wedding there would have been beautiful, and she was able to recommend a lovely officiant. I was so glad to keep in touch with Kathryn since then and plan the most stunning baptism reception and luncheon for our friends and family. Kathryn is such a pleasure to work with and makes sure every detail is perfect. I absolutely love her story and her inspiration behind her cafe. It made the occasion even more meaningful. She and her team did an incredible job planning and hosting our event. We did not need to add or bring anything extra—they took care of everything. The venue itself is so elegant and charming.
